Pulling on the Lead
When I walk my dog, it's hard to tell who is really walking who. 'Maverick' strains at the end of the lead until he just can't breath. I'm at the point where I just don't want to take him out. I don't even want to mention what happens if we see a squirrel."

This has got to be the number one problem that I get asked to fix. The answer lies in attention training. Refer to Lessons One and Two. 15 minutes every day for one week will make you and your dog very happy and comfortable when your about town. Be consistent and attention train before and during every walk.

Lesson One: Attention Training

Lesson Two: Heel Command, Sit Placement

Fix-it Topic: Chasing
