Please excuse our disarray as we renovate.
The Grantham Village School is located in west-central New Hampshire
in the Dartmouth-Lake
Sunapee region . We are a small, rural K-6 school supporting the use
of technology in our multi-age classrooms. Our philosophy states that we
promote learning as a life-long pursuit and as a means of helping our students
develop into productive members of our society.
Here's the place to find the up-to-the-minute news releases from our
new principal, Mrs. Pelletieri.
FROM THE COUNSELOR
Mrs. Deloris Netzband, GVS Guidance Counselor, and Ms. Nan Parsons,
grade 3-4 teacher, have just finished co-facilitating a special workshop
for parents focusing on the issue "Parenting the 5-12 Year Old in
the '90's."
Look for the "Ask The Counselor" box and bulletin board at
Mrs. Netzband's new location in the former principal's office.
Check out some of our excellent classrooms:

Of course the list could keep going
on and on...... We'll change them with your input. Please send your suggestions

Omers
are gearing up for 1997-98
Odyssey of the Mind at
the Grantham Village School is alive and well! Students are currently involved
in the team selection process. They are required to write a creative essay
to show why they have the right stuff to take part in this worthwhile activity.
People are anxious to find out more about this year's problems. This program
continues to be one of the most exciting challenges for all levels of our
school. Thanks go in advance to our organizers and coaches. We're always
looking for more coaches!!!!! Contact Nan Parsons at GVS for the 1997-98
information.
We love our volunteers!
GVS is grateful for the tremendouse efforts shown by parents and community
members who have donated countless hours of their time in our building enriching
our children's educational experience.

THANK YOU!!!!!
Scientist as Humanist Project 1996: Conscious Creations
This page was created at a summer seminar held at St.
Paul's School, sponsored jointly by the
National Science Foundation and the New Hampshire Council for the Humanities.
Participants were public school teachers, K-12, who explored the definitions,
uses, and ethics of using technology in the classroom. To find out more
of the work done by the Scientist
as Humanist project, click here.
