Mrs. Jaggard's Kindergarten Class
Mrs. Jaggard's Afternoon Kindergarteners are a wonderful "crop"
of new friends. Mrs. Jaggard has really taken a "shine" to them. Have
you guessed that they are starting the year with an apple theme?
Apples are found throughout the curriculum, from reading apple
stories to classifying apple colors and sizes in math to creating
wonderful apple art.. You might say that they are having a "bushel of
fun!"
Afternoon Kinders are using a real team approach with their math
work this year. The Home Team (the parents) and the School Team (the
teachers) are working together to solve problems with the students.
Examples of the problems are: patterning, counting, math stories,
money, measuring time, and learning about numerals and shapes.
