Practices for 2005-2006 Season

**Please note: These all-purpose directions will get you to all of the following places:

!. Practices at the Junior Sports League Building (aka the "J.S.L.") in Claremont, N.H. , OR...

2. Stevens High School (SHS)

As of this notice: Fencing Practices are held at the

Junior Sports League Building (click for map)
on Monday evenings from 7:00-9:30 P.M.
for the current fencing season.

---

From Interstate 91 (north or south):

1. ---Take Exit 8 (sign says "Ascutney/Windsor")
2. ---Turn LEFT at end of exit (onto 103 East) if you were headed SOUTH on
   91..... OR ..... Turn RIGHT at end of exit (onto 103 East) if you were
   headed NORTH on 91.
3. ---Follow 103 East past several gas stations and through one set of lights.
4. ---Keep on 103 and cross bridge (over the Connecticutt River) into NH.
5. ---After crossing bridge, go through lights at intersection of 12-A/103.
6. ---Keep going straight; pass under a very high railroad bridge/tressell. [After railroad bridge, the road goes UP a small hill and becomes more residential. This is still Rt. 103 (also known as "Lower Main St.")]
7. ---Stay on Lower Main Street for about 2-3 miles.
   Go PAST the following landmarks:

o --Lambert's Supply (on LEFT) -- keep going straight PAST Lambert's.
(The road takes a sharp left bend about 1/4 mile AFTER Lambert's. Just stay on Lower Main Street unti you see a Coca Cola Bottling Plant on the LEFT. If you made it this far, you can't go wrong now!)

o --Coca Cola Bottling Co. (on LEFT)

o --Mobil gas station (on LEFT).

o --KP's Custom Car Care & Hometown Deli (on RIGHT).

8. ---Cross the BRIDGE (over the Sugar River) and ...

• IF your destination is the Junior Sports League Bldg, turn RIGHT just after you cross the bridge; go UP the hill and turn LEFT at the stop sign onto Sullivan Street. Then turn RIGHT at the Market (onto PEARL ST. and look for the J.S.L. Bldg on your LEFT-hand side. [It's the one that LOOKS like an old armory ... because it IS!]

---

• IF your destination is STEVENS HIGH SCHOOL, then STAY TO THE LEFT after you cross the bridge and go through the lights. [Now you're on Main Street (it's still Rt. 103) which will take you to the "bullpen" at the center of town.]

A. ---When you come to the YIELD sign at the "Bullpen" rotary, you will be looking at City Hall on the far side, diagonally opposite where you came in.

B. --Go AROUND the bullpen and BEAR RIGHT onto BROAD STREET
[A sign for City Hall/Claremont Opera House will be on your LEFT.]

C. --Follow Broad Street PAST Bandstand and Post Office (on LEFT) and the Claremont Savings Bank (on RIGHT).
**SLOW DOWN HERE if you are going to the High School.

D. --Stevens High School is on the RIGHT hand side just after CSB.
IF you're going to Stevens High School, then pull into the driveway just BEFORE the High School. Park in the High School parking lot and walk AROUND the building to the Middle Street entrance (keeping the building on your LEFT).
