What do volunteers do at Voices Against Violence?

§          Crisis Line Advocacy- providing crisis intervention, information and referrals on our 24-hour crisis hotline.

§          Children’s Advocacy-providing support through childcare interaction to children who have experienced or witnessed domestic violence.

§          Administrative and Outreach Assistance-helping out with mailings, newsletters, and dispersal of information into the community.

§          Transportation-assisting mainly shelter residents to reach appointments and take care of daily living needs within our community

 

All Direct Service volunteer opportunities require a 34-hour training provided by Voices.
